Addiction Recovery Journal Walks Us Through the 12 Steps
Lynn - Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2023
Designed to support us in our addiction recovery, this workbook heavily draws from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, which has helped millions around the globe find freedom from addiction.
Each Step has a minute or two of my personal thoughts followed by supportive questions for that Step and a full page to note questions and/or comments from our recovery counselor or sponsor.
Included is an extensive Step Four inventory with 10 different lists which includes three gentle lists to help balance our mental wellness, thus, our recovery.
64 entries to track our triggers and learn where they come from. The information that we can extract from using this right away could come in quite handy once we begin taking our inventories.
A 4-week, full-page, daily journal to help get us started in the habit of taking Steps 10, 11, and 12 on a daily basis. We find the personal care check-ins continue here as we may be a bit delicate from having just learned what recovery truly is and how bruised we really were. We also find space for acceptance and our gratitude’s.
The five-minute daily check-in journal helps to support us while we are taking our steps. There are 11 weeks of 1/3 page entries for our daily goals, failures, and successes with personal care check-ins and recovery prompts. Did we shower today? Did we eat enough? How many hours did we sleep last night? Did we read recovery literature today? Did we go to a meeting? Call someone sober? And more.

"Very well done and thorough
AA Powerful 12 Step workbook:
I’ve been testing out and looking at various AA/Big Book/12 step workbooks to utilize and this one is quite positively the most comprehensive and thorough all in one I’ve found thus far. I follow Back to Basics format monthly and in my life but I love finding new sources to go through the steps with and compliment my style and life in the program. Well done, thank you. Highly recommend."
